Local company seeking temporary IT Technician to assist in IT Department. This is an upper level position. Candidate MUST have hands-on experience in the following areas:
*Working with Network PC and Platform Operating Systems including Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, Exchange 2007, SQL 2000, 2005, 2008
*Application support with MS Office products
*Network Administration, installation and troubleshooting
*Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting with PCs, Servers, Phones, etc.

*Must have working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols and standards, including Firewall, Active Directory, VPN
This position is very physical. Candidate must feel comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, be mechanically inclined and have strong CS skills. This is a hands-on position that will be supporting a staff of up to 500 employees.

The primary role of this Temp-to-Hire position is to translate and/or edit and maintain foreign-language satellite network and regional cable channel TV schedules. Individual will also be responsible for the following:
*Analyze program schedules, assess database information and research/create database content for original series and specials.
*Research and document questionable program content
*Initiate and maintain effective relationships with programming information providers
*Act as CS Representative
*Review/correct new show/movie records created daily in the department
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related language or equivalent work experience. Minimum 1yr. in Broadcast or Cable/Satellite department preferred. Bilingual skills in conversation, grammar and reading/writing are a MUST. Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills and have STRONG keyboarding and Windows proficiency.
