Our Team

Christina Gerarde, PHR, SHRM-CP, President

Christina is a graduate of Syracuse University, with degrees in both Business and Psychology. After Connie’s retirement, Christina has taken on the responsibility of overseeing all of KEENA’s operations. Christina is an active member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and NAPEO. She is well-versed in the PEO business model and is an exceptional leader. She is a positive influence on our team and always inspires us to do our best.

Sam Rathbun, General Manager

Sam Rathbun joined KEENA in 2017 as the Staffing Coordinator and is now KEENA’s General Manager. Sam graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.He brings with him experience in customer service, sales, small business development, as well as restaurant and hospitality management. In his free time he enjoys coaching sports and spending time with his family.

Shawn Weinberger, Operations Manager

Shawn joined KEENA in 2020 as the Staffing Coordinator and helped KEENA earn 1st place for Best of The Region for Staffing Agencies. A graduate of the 2023 Leadership Adirondack program, he now leads our internal team as the Operations Manager. Shawn attended SUNY Adirondack, where he studied Business Administration while working in Retail Management for 8 years. His experience in customer service, sales and managing people plays a huge role in his success with KEENA. When not at the office, he enjoys working on home projects with his wife, playing tennis & golf, cooking and spending time with his 2 dogs.

Josh Lyons, Finance & Accounting Manager

Josh joined KEENA in October 2016, bringing with him a wealth of experience in multiple areas. After graduating from SUNY Brockport with B.S. degree in Sports Management, he worked for a local hockey team, where he honed his skills in payroll and accounting. Now residing in Colorado with his wife and daughter, Josh enjoys spending his free time with his family. His dedication and expertise make him a valuable asset to the KEENA team.

Jodi Forth, Client Services Specialist

Jodi joined KEENA in 2020 as the Client Services Representative. In 2023, she joined our Client Services Specialist team. She now works along side Ethan in Human Resource Department, and continues to administer our clients Workers’ Compensation and Disability Insurances. She brings to KEENA over 30 years experience in Medical Office Management and Administration. When Jodi’s not at work, you can find her outside walking in any weather.

Heidi Geroux, Client Services Representative

Heidi joined KEENA in 2024, as a Client Services Representative and has quickly settled into her new role. Having 28 years of HR/Administrative experience with a local manufacturing company, Heidi brings extensive knowledge and professionalism to our team. When she’s not at work, she likes to read a good book, plant in her yard, and spend time with family and friends.

Noah Weinberger, Client Services Support Specialist

Noah joined Keena in 2024 as a Client Services Support Specialist working alongside both the Client Services and Payroll Departments. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he served active duty at Beale Air Force Base for four years and in Cape Cod with the Air National Guard for one year. He is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Political Science at UAlbany. His prior military experience allows him to bring problem-solving skills and attention to detail to our growing company. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing soccer, going on walks with his dog and spending time with his family.

Ethan Weinberger, Client Services Specialist

Ethan joined KEENA in 2023 as a Client Services Specialist in our Staffing and Human Resources Department. A 2022 graduate of Suny Adirondack, he brings 6+ years of experience in Customer Service & Hospitality to our growing company. In his free time, he enjoys making fish tanks and terrariums, soccer, and spending time with his family.
