As Executive Vice President at KEENA, Thomas Nanninga provides leadership and oversight across all aspects of the organization’s operations, ensuring the company’s core values remain at the center of every decision and interaction. Working closely with the Executive Management Team, he helps execute KEENA’s strategic vision, drive organizational growth, and deliver exceptional value to clients, employees, and stakeholders.

Thomas brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, having successfully led organizations ranging from regional providers to large national firms. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Waubonsee College and is a proud United States Navy veteran. Since 2000, Thomas has maintained a Property and Casualty Insurance license, complementing his extensive expertise in human resources, risk management, employee benefits, organizational leadership, and business operations.

As one of the newest members of the KEENA leadership team, Thomas is focused on strengthening the organization’s people-first culture while supporting long-term growth and operational excellence. His collaborative leadership style and deep industry experience help position KEENA as a trusted partner for businesses seeking comprehensive HR solutions.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, their three children, and three grandchildren. Whether boating on the lake or enjoying time at the beach, he values every opportunity to create lasting memories with his family.
