Our client is in search of a Customer Service Associate with experience in IT systems.  The successful candidate will answer phones, handle office correspondence and work with internal warehouse needs.  This position may lead into  growth in the computer operations and needs of a small business.  Experience in working with a small organization is preferred.  Computer experience is needed in areas such as Excel, Word, Outlook and the ability to pick up proprietary software systems is required.

Positions involve translating, editing and maintaining broadcast media schedules. Other responsibilities include:

*Analyze program schedules, assess database information and research/create database content for original series and specials. * Research and document questionable program content. *Initiate and maintain effective relationships with programming information providers. *Act as CS Representative. *Review and correct new show/movie records created daily in the department.

Qualifications: Bilingual skills in conversation, grammar and reading/writing required. Bachelors Degree in related language desired, but not required; experience in Broadcast Media industry helpful; must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills and have strong keyboarding and Windows proficiency.

Keena Staffing is in search of a Maintenance Person for a local community mobile home park.  Tasks may include painting, plumbing, tree trimming and general carpentry.  The successful candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in the field and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Event Manager Glens Falls Civic Center:

  • Efficiency in assigned duties including tracking and development of policies and procedures for efficient operation of all aspects of events (prep, show, settlement, load out)

  • Acts as liaison between Event Management staff and all operational departments

  • Serves as administrative contact for clients and Event Management during events to facilitate any unusual issues.

  • Coordinate events as assigned.

  • Coordinate all future events held in Heritage Hall

  • Assists in creating event schedules (aka data sheets); authorizes the accuracy of all final event settlement billings

  • Assists in coordinating all aspects of event riders

  • Actively researches and recruits potential bookings

  • Creates and reviews contracts associated with events

  • Generates floor plans for events in Heritage Hall and Arena upon customer request

  • Serves as liaison between show staff and building staff for selected events during the year as required

  • Other duties as required or assigned

  • Marketing duties: editing the website, updating the social media pages; facebook, twitter, marquee board, email blasts, scoreboard message edits,

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Knowledge: A good knowledge of the principles of administration as they relate to provision of facilities, services and equipment in a large convention/ exhibition/ entertainment center; a general knowledge of the services, vendors, union jurisdictions or other organizations involved in producing major events.

    Skills/Aptitudes: Must possess sound skills in planning, organizing and logistics; excellent interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills. This position requires the ability to respond politely to all individuals and work well as a team player.

    Working Conditions: Activities occur both inside and outside the center – some exposure to adverse weather conditions; ability to work flexible hours in addition to normal business hours, as needed; ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time.

  • Event Coordination;

  • Advises, guides, counsels and meets with assigned clients as necessary regarding all event details and logistics.

  • Gathers and organizes all information pertinent to the event such as scheduled and meeting room requirements.

  • Respond to client inquires by either providing information or directing inquiry to appropriate internal department.

  • Advises clients on the operational procedures, policies, rules and regulations and deadlines of the facility.

  • Quotes prices for operational and labor services not specified in the Event License Agreement.

  • Provides clear, concise and timely communication of detailed requirements to operational departments.

  • Process last minute changes requested by clients, and alerts internal departments and/or service contractors as necessary.

  • Must be present during the execution of the event and serve as manager on duty as required.

    Event Administration

  • Prepares and distributes to client and internal departments in a timely manner an event document detailing all information required for the execution of the event.

  • Maintains documentation of all contracts and correspondence related to definite sales accounts.

  • Accurately inputs and updates all information pertinent to definite sales accounts into the computer.

  • Prepares, reviews, and completes final event settlements. Handles subsequent inquiries regarding event settlements.

    Internal Communication

  • Meets with internal departments as necessary to discuss event requirements.

  • Holds pre-event meeting with client and internal departments to review event requirements and logistics.

  • Attends departmental meetings as required.


  • Performs related duties as assigned by the Director of Event Services.

    Working Conditions:

  • Substantial standing and walking on concrete and uneven surfaces, sitting at computer; not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.

  • Perform office related functions in standard office setting.

  • Activities occur both inside and outside the Center; some seasonal cold, heat and humidity

  • Must be able to work long hours, weekends and/or nights as events dictate.

Extrusion Operator

Keena is currently seeking a full time temporary Extrusion Operator to work at a local medical device manufacturing site under the guidance of a seasoned extrusion staff.  This position will be responsible for setup and maintaining good extrusions per a procedure/drawing. 

The successful candidate will be required to document settings and assist with end of the process materials such as chopping, rolling, boxing and raw material movement.  1-3 years experience is preferred.

Housekeeping Attendant - Full & Part Time Positions Available

The housekeeping attendant has primary responsibility for the comfort of resort guests while performing housekeeping duties for guests, staff, and the resort family; ensuring safe, tidy and optimally clean conditions in all areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform housekeeping tasks for the resort, which include but are not limited to: daily guest suite upkeep and full changeover on guests departure; cleanliness and presentation of all indoor/outdoor areas of the resort, staff buildings and housekeeping work stations.

•Ensure that all aspects of the areas above are in top operational order, and are cleaned to the highest quality standards with fine attention to detail.

•Perform laundry duties.

•Help ensure the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests and resort family.

•Interact with guests as required; provide them with an ongoing, exceptional level of service and quality at all points of contact.

•Assist other personnel as required for the purpose of ensuring a safe, effective and efficient work environment.
